Application mode:
Direct release on infested plants or plants with the incipient presence of pests. Adalia bipunctata is a natural predator of aphids, both in its larval and adult stages. It can also feed on other small insects such as cottony mealybugs or lepidopteran eggs. Its searching ability and voracity make it an excellent biological control agent.
Application tips:
- Carry out the release in the early hours of the day or at dusk, avoiding intense heat and direct radiation.
- Apply directly to the areas affected by aphids, distributing the individuals well in different parts of the crop.
