AMPELOMYCES QUISQUALIS
AMPELOMYCES QUISQUALIS
Application mode:
Foliar application by spraying, covering the surface of the leaves well, especially those with powdery mildew symptoms. Ampelomyces quisqualis acts as a natural parasite of the powdery mildew fungus, penetrating its structures (conidia and mycelium) and destroying it from the inside. Its action is specific against powdery mildew and does not affect the host plant.
Application tips:
- Apply when observing the first signs of powdery mildew, preferably in conditions of high relative humidity, which favor the activity of the antagonist fungus.
- Avoid treatments during hours of high solar radiation or extreme temperatures.
- Do not mix with broad-spectrum fungicides, especially those with action against mitosporic fungi, as they can inhibit their development.
- Repeat applications every 7-10 days if conditions favorable to powdery mildew persist.
- Shake the product well before using and apply with non-chlorinated water.
- Ideal for integrated pest management (IPM) programs and organic farming.
Toxicity:
- For humans: Non-toxic. It is a natural organism, considered safe for the applicator and the consumer.
- For bees: Non-toxic. It does not represent a risk to pollinators.
- For natural allies: Compatible with beneficial insects such as ladybugs, lacewings and predatory mites.
- For the environment: Safe and biodegradable. It does not contaminate soils or bodies of water and does not affect non-target organisms.
Read the manufacturer's instructions carefully, respect the doses and times and follow the recommendations for use.
