BEAUVERIA BASSIANA (CEPA ATCC 74040)
BEAUVERIA BASSIANA (Strain ATCC 74040) – Usage guide and application tips
Application mode:
Foliar application by spraying, ensuring uniform coverage on stems, leaves (especially the underside) and pest refuge areas. Beauveria bassiana (strain ATCC 74040) acts by contact, germinating on the body of the host insect and penetrating its cuticle. It then colonizes its interior, causing the death of the insect. It is effective against whiteflies, aphids, thrips, mites, scale insects, bedbugs, leafminers and other soft-bodied insects.
Application tips:
- Apply in the early hours of the day or at dusk, with good relative humidity (greater than 60%) to promote spore germination.
- Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to the sun, as UV radiation can reduce the viability of the fungus.
- Do not mix with fungicides or products that can inhibit fungi; Respect adequate intervals if chemical treatments are used.
- Repeat applications weekly or as indicated by the manufacturer, especially if pest pressure persists.
- Ideal for horticultural, fruit, ornamental crops, greenhouse crops and organic farming systems.
Toxicity:
- For humans: Non-toxic. Safe for the applicator if the recommendations for use are followed.
- For bees: Non-toxic. Does not interfere with pollinators.
- For natural allies: Generally compatible with predators and parasitoids, but it is recommended to avoid direct applications on them.
- For the environment: Biodegradable, without polluting effects. It leaves no residue and is safe for soils and bodies of water.
Read the manufacturer's instructions carefully, respect the doses and times and follow the recommendations for use.
