QUI EN EST LA CAUSE ?
Thrips are small winged insects belonging to the order Thysanoptera, known for their ability to cause significant damage to a wide variety of plants. These insects have thin bodies and narrow wings fringed with hairs. They feed by piercing the surface of leaves and sucking plant juices, which can weaken plants and cause growth deformities.

SYMPTÔMES
In ornamental and garden plants, thrips can cause a disease known as "leaf silvering." Symptoms include silvery or whitish Taches on leaves, caused by damage by thrips while feeding. Additionally, deformed or curled leaves may be observed, and in severe cases, defoliation may occur.

Recommandations
To prevent and control thrips attacks on ornamental and garden plants, several recommendations can be followed. These include regularly inspecting plants for signs of thrips damage, removing weeds and plant debris that may serve as shelter for the insects, and using specific insecticides when necessary.
