Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis acts exclusively through ingestion, so it must come into contact with the larvae while they are feeding.
Treatment should be carried out when larval activity is detected, preferably in the early stages, as they are more susceptible. It can be applied by spraying, misting, or incorporation into irrigation water, depending on the product formulation. It is recommended to repeat the treatment depending on environmental conditions and the product's persistence.
