
POTASSIUM SOAP AND NEEM OIL SOLUTION

How does it work?
The potassium soap and Neem oil solution is a natural and effective treatment for the control of various pests such as leafminers, insects, weevils, Tuta ABSOLA, psylla, red spider mites, whiteflies, sooty mold, and moths. Potassium soap acts by weakening the protective layer of insects and cleaning the honeydew that favors the development of fungi such as sooty mold, while Neem oil has insecticidal properties that interfere with the development, feeding and reproduction of pests. By combining both, the control effect is enhanced and the general health of the crop is improved.
How is it prepared?
To prepare 1 liter of solution you need:
- 1 liter of water
- 10 ml of potassium soap
- 5 ml of Neem oil
Recipe:
1. Fill a container with 1 liter of water.
2. Add 10 ml of potassium soap and dissolve well.
3. Add 5 ml of Neem oil and mix until obtaining a homogeneous solution.
4. Pour the mixture into a sprayer for application.
How to apply it?
- Apply the solution directly to the underside and top of the leaves, making sure to cover the affected areas well.
- Use preferably at dusk or during hours of low solar radiation to avoid damaging plants.
- Repeat the application every 5 to 7 days if the infestation is high.
- In sensitive crops or in frequent applications, alternate with plain water to avoid residue accumulation.
- Do not apply if rain is expected in the following hours so as not to lose effectiveness.
