AGUA DE COCCIÓN DE VERDURAS
Vegetable cooking water: homemade fertilizer to correct nitrogen deficiency
How does it work?
How is it prepared?
All you need is the leftover water from steaming or boiling vegetables.
Recipe:
• Vegetable cooking water (without salt)
• Container or bottle for storage
• Watering can
Steps:
1. Cook vegetables such as chard, spinach, carrots, broccoli, green beans, etc.
2. Save the resulting water, provided it does not contain salt, oil, or seasonings.
3. Let it cool completely before using.
4. If not used immediately, store in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
How to apply it?
• Water plants with the cooking water once a week.
• For very weak plants, use twice a week for two weeks.
• Ideal for plants with yellow leaves, poor growth, or depleted substrate.
• Do not use if the water contains salt, as it can seriously damage the roots.
• Do not apply to plants sensitive to excess moisture; avoid saturating the substrate.
