TRICHODERMA HARZIANUM
Trichoderma harzianum – Instructions for use and tips for the antagonistic fungus against soil pathogens
Application mode:
Application to soil or substrate via irrigation, root immersion, or direct incorporation into the root zone. It can also be applied in seedbeds or as a seed treatment before sowing. Trichoderma harzianum acts by colonizing the roots and rhizosphere, displacing pathogenic fungi and establishing a protective biological barrier. Furthermore, it produces metabolites that stimulate plant growth and strengthen the plant's natural defenses against fungal diseases such as root rot, white mold, and Phytophthora.
Application tips:
• Apply preferably as a preventative measure or in the early stages of crop development.
• Avoid mixing with broad-spectrum chemical fungicides, especially systemic ones, which may reduce its viability.
• Keep the soil or substrate slightly moist after application to promote establishment.
• Compatible with fertilizers, compost, and organic farming practices.
• Shake the product well before use and use chlorine-free water to avoid affecting the fungus's viability.
• Repeat the application periodically or after unfavorable conditions (drought, intense heat, or excessive humidity) to maintain an active population in the rhizosphere.
Toxicity:
• For humans: Very low toxicity. No significant adverse effects are known. Wearing gloves and a mask during handling is recommended as a precaution.
• For bees: Non-toxic. Safe for pollinators and beneficial insects.
• For beneficial insects: Harmless to most beneficial soil organisms and natural enemies.
• For the environment: Biological product, leaves no residue and poses no risk of contamination. Promotes soil microbial biodiversity and contributes to ecological balance.
Read the manufacturer's instructions carefully, respect the doses and times and follow the recommendations for use.
