DESCRIPTION
WHO CAUSES IT?
Rust is a fungal disease caused by various fungi of the Puccinia genus. These fungi are plant parasites and can infect a wide variety of crops, including cannabis. Rust appears as brown, orange or yellow Taches on leaves, stems and other parts of the plant. These Taches are made up of spores of the fungus and can spread quickly if not properly controlled.
SYMPTOMS
In cannabis, rust can cause symptoms such as yellow or orange Taches on the leaves, stems and flowers, which may be accompanied by a dusting of rust-colored spores on the undersides of the leaves. As the disease progresses, the Taches can expand and merge, leading to a decrease in plant health and yield.
