ABONOS NITROGENADOS / FERTILIZANTES NITROGENADOS
Nitrogen fertilizers – Instructions and tips for treating nitrogen deficiency in plants
Application method:
Application tips:
• Apply preferably early in the morning or at dusk to avoid burning and improve absorption.
• Maintain regular watering, as nitrogen moves easily with water; lack of moisture reduces its effectiveness.
• Do not apply on rainy days or before heavy rain: nitrogen can leach out and be lost deep in the soil.
• Adjust the dose according to soil condition and crop type (some plants require more nitrogen than others).
• Do not overdo it: excess nitrogen causes soft growth, poor flowering, and increased susceptibility to pests.
• In sensitive crops, divide the application into several small applications instead of one large dose.
• When applying foliar spray, use clean water, respect the dosages, and avoid mixing with highly alkaline products.
Toxicity:
• For humans: Low toxicity in normal applications, but certain products may irritate skin, eyes, or respiratory tract. Wear gloves and avoid breathing the dust.
• For bees: No direct toxicity. Even so, avoid foliar applications on open flowers to avoid interfering with their activity.
• For natural allies: Does not affect beneficial insects, as it is not a pesticide.
• For the environment: Should be used sparingly. Excess can contaminate groundwater (nitrates) or promote excessive algae growth. Do not apply near waterways.
