PARAFFIN OIL – Usage instructions and application tips for plants
Application mode:
Foliar application by spraying, ensuring total coverage of leaves, stems and branches, especially the underside of the leaves. It acts by contact, forming a film that suffocates insects such as scale insects, aphids, mites and pest eggs.
Application tips:
- Apply during periods of vegetative rest or in the first stages of development, avoiding flowering and active sprouting.
- Do not apply with temperatures above 25-28 °C or on very sunny days to avoid damage due to phytotoxicity.
- Do not apply in combination with copper or sulfur products within an interval of less than 3 days.
- Shake the product well before use and apply with clean water.
- In fruit trees, respect the safety period before harvest.
- Carry out a test on a part of the plant if it is the first time it is used.
Toxicity:
- For humans: Low to moderate toxicity. May cause skin and eye irritation. Avoid direct contact and use gloves during application.
- For bees: Moderate toxicity. Do not apply during flowering or when there is pollinator activity.
- For natural allies: It can affect some beneficial insects if applied in excess or repeatedly. Use with caution in crops with a high presence of auxiliary fauna.
- For the environment: Biodegradable, but can cause negative effects if applied in excess or near water courses.
