DELTAMETHRIN 10% – How to apply and recommendations for agricultural use
Application mode:
Foliar application by direct spraying on the affected parts of the plant, ensuring complete coverage, especially on the underside of the leaves where pests usually reside. It acts by contact and ingestion, affecting the nervous system of insects such as aphids, caterpillars, thrips, whiteflies and beetles.
Application tips:
- Apply preferably in the first moments of infestation for greater control.
- Avoid applying during the hottest hours of the day to reduce the risk of phytotoxicity.
- The application can be repeated every 7-10 days if pest pressure continues.
- Do not mix with products with a strong alkaline reaction or with mineral oils.
- Shake well before diluting in water and using clean, preferably soft water.
- Compatible with integrated pest management programs.
Toxicity:
- For humans: Moderately toxic. May cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Wear gloves, mask and glasses during preparation and application.
- For bees: High toxicity. Do not apply during flowering or in the presence of bees.
- For auxiliary insects: High toxicity. It negatively affects natural enemies such as lacewings, ladybugs and beneficial mites. Apply only when strictly necessary and outside its period of activity.
- For the environment: Very toxic for aquatic organisms. Do not allow contamination of surface waters or clean equipment near water courses.
