Why are my fruits rotting?

Fruit rot may be caused by diseases caused by fungi and oomycetes or by pests that puncture the fruit and allow microorganisms to enter. The appearance of the rot, the presence of mold, tunnels, or larvae, and the stage at which the problem appears are key to correctly identifying the cause and applying the most appropriate treatment.
