AZUFRE AGRÍCOLA (POLVO O SOLUBLE)
Agricultural sulfur – Instructions and tips for treating sulfur deficiency in plants
Application method:
Application tips:
• Apply preferably in the early morning or at dusk, avoiding temperatures above 28–30 °C, as sulfur can cause burns.
• Do not apply on very sunny days or during heat waves.
• For nutritional correction, repeat every 3–6 weeks, depending on the crop's needs.
• In calcareous soils, its action is slower due to the high pH; it can be combined with organic matter to improve availability.
• Compatible with organic farming.
• Shake well before use if applying as a liquid suspension.
• Do not mix with mineral oils or apply within 20 days of using oils to avoid phytotoxicity.
• Always test on a small area first if it is the first time using it.
Toxicity:
• For humans: Very low toxicity at recommended doses. May cause mild irritation to skin, eyes, or respiratory tract. Wear gloves and avoid inhaling the dust.
• For bees: Low toxicity. Always apply outside of flowering period to reduce risks and do not spray directly on flowers.
• For natural allies: Generally safe. Does not harm predators such as ladybugs or lacewings if used responsibly.
• For the environment: Safe and biodegradable product. Prevent it from reaching waterways and do not apply excessively to avoid localized soil acidification.
