SOLUCIÓN CON BÓRAX DOMÉSTICO
Solution with household borax: a home remedy to correct boron deficiency
How does it work?
How is it prepared?
Borax should always be diluted very well and used in low concentrations.
Recipe:
• 1/2 teaspoon (2–3 g) of household borax
• 1 liter of water
• Spray bottle or watering can
Steps:
1. Gently warm the water to facilitate dissolution (optional).
2. Add the borax and mix until completely dissolved.
3. Pour the solution into a spray bottle or watering can, depending on the application method.
4. Label the container to prevent misuse.
How to apply it?
• Always apply in very small quantities, as excess boron can be toxic.
• By watering: apply around the base of the plant once every 3–4 weeks.
• Foliar application: lightly spray the leaves, avoiding excess, every 30 days.
• Ideal for plants with deformed young shoots, and for vegetables such as cabbages, tomatoes, beets, and fruit trees.
• Do not use if the soil is already rich in boron or in areas with hard water, to avoid accumulation.
