Why do webs appear on plants?
The presence of fine webs on leaves or between shoots usually indicates a mite infestation, especially spider mites. These pests are extremely small and difficult to see with the naked eye, but they can multiply rapidly and weaken the plant by feeding on its sap. Observing the location of the webs and any associated symptoms will help correctly identify the problem and apply the most suitable treatment.
