DESCRIPTION
WHO CAUSES IT?
Mites are small arachnids that can become problematic pests for a variety of crops, including citrus. These arachnids feed on plant tissues, piercing plant cells to extract their sap. Mites can reproduce quickly, especially in hot, dry conditions, and their presence can be difficult to detect with the naked eye, making them a challenge for growers.
SYMPTOMS
Mites can cause a number of problems in citrus, such as yellowing of leaves, loss of vigor and a reduction in fruit quality and quantity. Additionally, they can spin fine webs on the leaves and shoots, which can attract dust and other pathogens.

• Presence of fine cobwebs on the leaves and shoots.
• Appearance of necrotic Taches on the leaves.
