DESCRIPTION
WHO CAUSES IT?
The whitefly is a small insect belonging to the Aleyrodidae family, which is commonly found in cannabis crops and other plants of agricultural importance. These insects are known for their small, white appearance, as well as their ability to feed on plant sap, which can weaken them and affect their development. Additionally, whiteflies are a particularly problematic pest due to their ability to transmit viral diseases between plants, which can have a significant impact on crop production and quality.
SYMPTOMS
In cannabis, whiteflies can transmit viral diseases such as cannabis mosaic. Symptoms of this disease include yellowish or mottled Taches on the leaves, deformation of the shoots and leaves, and an overall decline in plant growth and yield.
