To prevent and control the disease caused by Phyllosticta cavendishii in banana plantations, it is recommended to implement integrated pest management measures. These include pruning infected leaves to reduce the spread of the fungus, proper irrigation management to prevent water buildup on leaves, and applying preventative fungicides during periods of high humidity.
