¿QUIÉN LO CAUSA?
Venturia inaequalis is a phytopathogenic fungus that causes the disease known as apple scab. The fungus can survive on fallen leaves and infected plant remains, especially during winter, in the form of reproductive structures such as ascospores. These ascospores are released in spring and spread through the air to infect new leaves, flowers, and fruits. The fungus develops on leaves, fruits and shoots, forming lesions that can expand rapidly.

SÍNTOMAS
Apple scab produces dark, superficial lesions on leaves, flowers and fruits, which can cause deformation and premature fall of the leaves and fruits. These injuries can also reduce the commercial quality of the crop.
