DESCRIPTION
WHO CAUSES IT?
Drechslera is a genus of fungi that includes several phytopathogenic species capable of affecting a wide range of plants, including cannabis. These fungi usually cause foliar diseases, producing lesions on the leaves that can compromise the health and performance of the plant.
SYMPTOMS
Drechslera infection in cannabis primarily manifests as lesions on the leaves, which can vary in appearance depending on the specific fungal species and environmental conditions. The lesions are usually dark brown or black and may have a yellowish or necrotic border. Over time, these lesions can expand and fuse, affecting larger areas of the plant and causing defoliation.
