WHO CAUSES IT?
Worms and caterpillars are larvae of various insect species, such as butterflies and moths, that can become destructive pests in cannabis crops. These insects have strong jaws that allow them to feed on the leaves, stems and flowers of plants, causing significant damage if not properly controlled. They are particularly problematic during the vegetative growth and flowering stages of the plant, as they can weaken the plant and reduce its yield.
SYMPTOMS
In cannabis, the presence of worms and caterpillars can lead to the disease known as defoliation and direct damage to the flowers. Symptoms include the presence of holes in the leaves, curling of the leaves, loss of leaf tissue, the appearance of excrement (feces) on the leaves and visible damage to the flowers in the form of holes and Taches.
